Evergreen, slow-growing, compact shrub up to 1.5 m high. Grows about 5 cm per year, ideally shaped by regular pruning, valuable variety. One of the most successful varieties for forming balls with minimal effort. Young growth naturally gives compact spherical growth.
Leaves: Opposite, leathery, ovoid, relatively small, from 1.5 cm to 2.3 cm long and 1.1 - 1.5 cm wide, petiole 0.15 cm, dark green, shiny.
Planting and care: Plant in the sun or in partial shade, fertile soil, regular watering. Pruning in spring and summer for shaping.
It is better to buy seedlings of small-leaved boxwood "Faulkner" grown in Ukraine in a plastic pot with prolonged fertilizers, so the plant is not dug up with damage to the root system and after planting it is guaranteed to take root. But the greatest advantage of buying a plant in a pot is that it can be planted without buying additional fertilizers from March to November, even on the hottest days of summer.
