Tree up to 1.5 m high. Needles are dark green, shiny. Young shoots are golden-yellow. Use – rockeries, groups, etc.

All forms of thuja plicata are very decorative. The typical form is good for forming dense groups, alleys, the dwarf form is good for rocky areas, the weeping form is for single plantings on lawns and near water. Forms with colored needles are used to create contrasting compositions.
