It is a mutation of the Lawson Elwoodii cypress.
Form:
Evergreen shrub. The crown is narrow, columnar, dense. The branches are thin, vertical, slightly deflected to the sides.
Size:
Height 2-3.5 m, width 0.6-1.5 m.
Needles:
Needle-shaped, the ends of the shoots are golden-yellow in spring and summer, paler in winter.
Light:
Shade-tolerant. Needs a protected place.
Soil:
Grows on all cultivated, not too dry garden soils. Develops optimally on fresh, moist, nutrient-rich sandy-clay soils, acidic or alkaline, tolerates calcareous.
