Medium tree of strong and unevenly growing, narrow conical shape.

Reaches 10-15 meters in height. The variety was obtained in the Moerheim nursery in Dedemswaart (Holland) in 1912. The branches are short, horizontal. The needles are 20-30 mm long, adjacent. In the second year, they become an intense silvery-blue. In winter, the color does not change. The apical bud is 10-15 mm long, blunt, yellow-brown. The lateral buds are very different and are spirally located below the apical bud. The scales at the top are strongly separated. Prefers moderately moist or dry, moderately acidic soils and a sunny location. Recommended for large gardens and parks.
