Caster - Spruce Prickly (Product code: )

The prickly spruce "Koster" was obtained in 1901 in a Dutch nursery, and received its species name thanks to the owner of the nursery - Ari Koster.

This tree by the age of 30 reaches a height of 10-12 m, with a width of 4-5 m. The crown is conical, evenly developed. The trunk is curved. The branches are weeping, hanging down to the ground. Young shoots are orange-brown. The needles are slightly sickle-shaped, bluish-green, with a waxy coating, thin and short 20-25 mm long. It has phytoncidal air ionizing properties.
The prickly spruce "Koster" is resistant to urban conditions.

The prickly spruce "Koster" looks great as a solitary plant or in combination with other trees, as well as in compositions. Can be used as a New Year (Christmas) tree.
