A variety that attracts attention with its deeply dissected leaves. It reaches a height of 10 - 15 meters.

When it matures it becomes a dense, spreading crown. Smooth gray bark. Dark green leaves are unevenly deeply dissected into lobes. Some leaves are very narrow and have several small lateral petals, they become ± 10 cm long and ± 5 cm wide. In autumn the colors are warm golden yellow inflorescences and inconspicuous. In autumn 1 - 2 cm long nuts follow, it bears abundantly only at a later age. "Asplenifolia" is solitary and prefers not too wet soil, well drained and high in humus
